Migraine attack not responding to your home medications?

The 2025 American Headache Society guideline update for acute migraine treatment in adults highlights nerve blocks as an evidence-based option for migraine attacks:

✅ Occipital nerve blocks — Level A evidence
“Must offer” for eligible patients

✅ Supraorbital nerve blocks — Level B evidence
“May offer” for eligible patients

At CNMRI 2.0, we offer both occipital nerve blocks and supraorbital nerve blocks for appropriate patients who need fast, in-office treatment for an acute migraine attack.

These procedures are quick, performed in the office, and may provide immediate pain relief when your usual home medications are not enough.
