Dr. Jay J. Dave, D.O.

Founder and Medical Director

​ Dr. Dave is board certified in Neurology and Neuroimaging. He received his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA and his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident, and completed a fellowship in Neuroimaging at Dent Neurologic Institute in Buffalo, NY.

Dr. Dave joined CNMRI in 2011, shortly after completing his training. He has grown to love the southern Delaware community and therefore decided to form CNMRI 2.0 after the closure of CNMRI to continue providing neurological care to the area. Dr. Dave treats the full spectrum of neurological conditions, with special expertise in neuroimaging, headaches, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and Alzheimer’s disease.

Outside his clinical roles, Dr. Dave has a strong commitment to education, serving as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and Lincoln Memorial University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and as a Clinical Instructor at the Delaware Psychiatric Institute, where he teaches psychiatry residents.

He is an active member of the Medical Society of Delaware, where he serves as Chair of the Membership Committee and Co-Chair of the Mentorship Committee. He is also a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Society of Neuroimaging. Dr. Dave regularly delivers lectures on a wide range of neurological topics to both his peers and the community.
